It is common knowledge that President Joe Biden made mistakes during the first presidential debate with Donald Trump, which he admitted in a recent radio program.
Regarding the debate, Biden explicitly acknowledged his errors, stating, “I had a poor performance. I mishandled the situation,” during an interview with radio host Earl Ingram. He credited his father’s teachings for his outlook on setbacks, claiming, “When you face defeat, you must persevere and rise again. Rest assured, we will secure victory in this election.” Biden added, “We are determined to defeat Donald Trump, just like we did in 2020 and will do so again. However, we require the support of everyone to achieve this goal.” Reflecting on the debate, Biden noted, “I did not perform well during those 90 minutes on stage. However, just consider my accomplishments over the past 3.5 years. I have steered the economy away from a crisis, with continuous improvement. I have reduced prescription drug costs and collaborated with Republicans to enhance veterans’ healthcare.”
Amid widespread conjecture about Kamala Harris potentially replacing Biden as the Democratic candidate against Donald Trump, Biden unequivocally stated on Wednesday that he had no intention of withdrawing. During a meeting with Democratic governors, Biden affirmed his commitment to remaining in the race. California Governor Gavin Newsom, who was also touted as a possible replacement, attested, “I heard three resolute words from the president – he’s fully dedicated to this campaign. As am I.”
The gathering concluded with Vice President Kamala Harris emphasizing the dangers to the democratic system posed by a triumphant return of former President Donald Trump, where she injected an expletive into her statement, as per information provided by a reliable source.
