At Columbia University in New York City, students have set up camp on the lawns, displaying posters advocating for a free Palestine.
The campus is filled with chants of “Azadi” as the protests against the Israel-Hamas conflict continue to grow. These demonstrations have gained attention from President Joe Biden, highlighting the significance of the situation.
The protests, led by groups such as Columbia University Apartheid Divest, Students for Justice in Palestine, and Jewish Voice for Peace, have occupied the South Lawn of the university.
Tents with signs reading “Liberated Zone” and “Israel bombs, Columbia pays” have been erected, creating a makeshift encampment.
Disturbing videos have also surfaced, showing a small group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators using derogatory language towards Israel while waving the Palestinian flag.
Additionally, a video captured a woman chanting slogans in Hindi in support of a free Palestine, with her fellow protesters joining in with chants of “azadi.” The woman’s slogans included references to President Biden, Netanyahu, and Modi, urging them to listen and support the cause of freedom.
