A blast occurred during a cricket match in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday, resulting in at least one fatality and several injuries, according to police reports.
The explosion happened at the Kausar Cricket Ground located in the Khar tehsil of Bajaur district. As per the statement from Bajaur District Police Officer Waqas Rafique, the explosive device was improvised, as reported by Dawn.
Authorities indicated that one individual lost his life in the incident, while numerous others, including children, sustained injuries. The injured were transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
