Imsha Rehman, a prominent TikTok personality from Pakistan, has chosen to deactivate her social media accounts following the widespread circulation of an inappropriate video. She has encountered significant criticism from users online, who have alleged that she deliberately made her private videos public to attract attention. However, it seems she may be a victim of a data breach. This incident marks the second occurrence of its kind, following the case of Minahil Malik, whose private video with her boyfriend also emerged online recently. Malik’s followers similarly suggested that her situation was a publicity stunt, leading her to reportedly leave Instagram amid the controversy.
In response to the backlash, Rehman expressed her struggle with the negative comments before deactivating her account, describing the reaction as “overwhelming,” according to local media reports. Numerous screenshots from her private video have been shared across social media platforms, some of which have even been transformed into memes.
Additionally, a screenshot allegedly from Rehman’s TikTok account has been circulating, in which she states, “Jab tak video viral hai maine ne ID off kar di hai” (Till the time the video is viral, I have deactivated my account).
Imsha Rehman is widely recognized in Pakistan for her vibrant and engaging content. In addition to her TikTok presence, she is active on various other social media platforms.
Rehman has stated in interviews with local media that her birth date is October 7, 2002, and that she was raised in Lahore.
What transpired with Minahil Malik?
Malik encountered a similar controversy when a video depicting her in a private moment with her partner circulated widely on social media in October. She asserted that the video was “fake” and filed a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Nevertheless, Malik endured significant trolling as social media users accused her of deliberately leaking the video. Pakistani actress Mishi Khan released a video in which she condemned influencers for “stooping to the lowest level” in pursuit of fame. Although she did not explicitly name Malik, her comments were widely interpreted as being directed at her.
