Republican Donald Trump announced his victory over Democratic opponent Kamala Harris in the United States presidential election as he approached the 270 Electoral votes necessary for his return to the White House.
During his address in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump promised to usher in a “golden age” for the nation, lauding what he referred to as “the greatest political movement of all time.”
Harris has yet to concede and is anticipated to make a statement on Thursday.
