The bodies of three additional hostages have been recovered by Israel’s army, who were tragically killed during the Hamas attack on October 7.
The identified hostages are Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, and Orion Hernandez Radoux. The families of the deceased have been informed of this heartbreaking news.
According to reports from the New York Post, the army has stated that all three hostages were murdered on the same day as the attack at the Mefalsim intersection. Subsequently, their bodies were taken to Gaza.
Just a few days ago, the army also retrieved the bodies of three other hostages who lost their lives on October 7. In addition to these individuals, Israel has sadly revealed that around 100 hostages, as well as the bodies of 30 more people, are being held by Hamas in Gaza.
The army has confirmed that the recent recovery of the bodies took place during an operation in Jabaliya. The retrieval was made possible due to “critical intelligence” uncovered by Israeli forces operating in Gaza last week, as stated by Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, the military spokesman.
Yablonka, a 42-year-old father of two, was also among those captured during the Nova music festival. His family has been left in the dark regarding his whereabouts and well-being ever since his abduction.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made a promise to rescue all the hostages and eradicate Hamas. Despite this, there has been minimal advancement in the situation, leading to calls for Netanyahu to step down from his position.
The United States has issued a warning that it may reduce its assistance due to the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
